The standard we build to

We build and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. That is the current benchmark for public websites, and it is the standard we hold ourselves to. We test rather than assume, and where testing finds a gap we fix it. If you hit a barrier we have not caught, please tell us and we will help you and correct it.

What we test for

• Text and background colors, checked against the contrast levels the guidelines set.
• Keyboard navigation, and a focus outline that stays visible as you move.
• Buttons and links, checked for comfortable tap size on a phone.
• Text descriptions on images, with decorative ones marked so screen readers skip them.
• Heading order, so screen reader users can move through a page quickly.
• Motion and animation, against your device setting if you have asked for reduced motion.
• Larger text sizes, and small screens.

Where we know there are limits

The Contact page includes a map provided by Google. We do not control how that map behaves. If it is difficult to use, the address and a plain directions link are printed directly on the page, and we are glad to give directions over the phone.

If any part of this site gets in your way, we want to know, and we will help you get what you need in the meantime. Call (603) 595-4600 and tell us what happened and what page you were on. We will work with you directly and fix what we can.

Accessibility is not a one-time check. We review the site as it changes and correct problems as we find them.
